Dr. Brittingham and Mr. Houssock are the ELA/Math Support Teachers.  ELA stands for English Language Arts.  They support the staff and students in all areas of reading and English.  They serve as a liaison for the school when they attend meetings with a representative from each elementary school in the Indian River School District.  They are the Math Lead teachers for Long Neck and also meet with representatives from the district to promote quality math education.  They go in the classroom to teach math lessons that compliment the skills that are being taught by the classroom teacher.  They enjoy their job since it give them the opportunity to work closely with all of the wonderful staff and students at Long Neck Elementary.
