In order to help your child succeed and to develop appropriately, it is important to encourage your family to focus on healthy life style choices. These healthy lifestyle choices include:

  • Getting proper rest - at least 8 hours of sleep each night
  • Making healthy food choices - eat more fruits & vegetables
  • Increasing water intake while limiting high sugar drinks like soda& sports drinks
  • Increasing play and physical activity
  • Limiting inactive activity like TV, computer and video games
  • Limiting headphone use
